When you stake your tokens, you enter an Eternal Stake — a long-term position designed to grow automatically over time.

  • Your staked tokens start earning rewards immediately.

  • Rewards are auto-compounded, meaning you earn rewards on your rewards.

  • You don’t need to re-stake or actively manage your position.

  • You can claim rewards at any time, without penalty.

  • Rewards are capped at 100% APY to ensure long-term sustainability.

  • Claiming rewards does not stop future compounding.

The Penalty Cooldown

To support long-term alignment, EternalStake includes a transparent and predictable exit mechanism.

  • You can unstake at any time.

  • If you unstake early, a stake-only penalty applies — never to your earned rewards.

  • The penalty follows a 5-year linear cooldown, starting at 50% and decreasing steadily to 0%.

  • The purpose of the penalty is not to lock users in, but to discourage short-term behavior and reward commitment.

  • All penalty tokens are redirected into the reward pool, strengthening returns for long-term participants.

  • After 5 years, your stake becomes fully penalty-free.
